Rotary Club Oosterhout proudly presents the Classic Wings & Wheels Gala on Saturday August 20, 2011 at the airbase Gilze-Rijen.
In 2001, the first Classic Wings & Wheels Gala was held at the airbase Gilze-Rijen. About 2500 enthusiastic visitors enjoyed a unique event. Bringing together exclusive historic aircraft and a collection of classic cars proved to be a winning match. This initiative of the Rotary Club Oosterhout will be repeated in 2011 for the fifth time. Together with the Royal Air Force Historic Flight and the HARC (Historic Auto Race Club) a spectacular program has been compiled, which your guests undoubtedly will enjoy throughout the day.
Guests can watch the static shows of cars and aircrafts, and in between visit the terraces while enjoying a drink and live music. The casual atmosphere and the unique ambiance promise to make the day unforgettable. Wings & Wheels 2009 provides exciting opportunities for corporate participation to companies that are seeking to intensify their relationship with clients, partners and/or customers. Demonstrations
Throughout the day wonderful flight demonstrations will be shown, including the Mitchel B25 bomber, Spitfire, Beavers, Harvards, Tiger Moth, a Dakota and many other top historic aircrafts. On the ground there will be exciting runway demonstrations of both historic and modern supercars, such as the historic Ferrari's, Bugatti's , historic F1 and pre-war cars.
